About

I’m always looking for your horror funny bone–that unique concept that terrifies you as an individual.

Hello and welcome! Let me introduce myself: I am an author, epidemiologist, content marketing strategist, and the host of the podcast “Horror Humor Hunger.” I’m also an enthusiastic member of the DreadPop Magazine team, and the host of the “Tag Team Tales of Terror” segment on the DreadPop YouTube channel. I have published several short stories, including “Father Dale’s Drive-Thru Exorcisms” (After Dinner Conversation, 2019) and “Grandma Ruth’s U.P. Truck Stop” (After Dinner Conversation, 2021). In my spare time, I like to play pickleball, go birding, and take long walks with my German shepherd/poodle mix, Tater Tot.

I earned my BS in Biology of Global Health from Georgetown University and my MPH in Epidemiology from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. I’ve worked as an epidemiologist for the CDC, a healthcare consultant and researcher at The Advisory Board Company, and a corporate strategist at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan before opening my own healthcare content marketing business, Hampton Review.
